About Sucha

I am a postdoctoral research assistant in the Computer Science Department at the University of Southern California (USC). I am fortunate to work with Prof. Ramesh Govindan and Prof. Barath Raghavan in the Networked Systems Laboratory that exposes me to network and systems research. Previously, I worked with Prof. Michael J. Neely, Prof. Poompat Saengudomlert, and Prof. Yodyium Tipsuwan.

My broad objective is to optimize and design network systems by utilizing mathematical modeling, analysis, and techniques, such as optimization theory and reinforcement learning. Recently, I worked on how to mask internal failures inside a wide area network router to achieve high availability. Other ongoing research topics are data center topology design, network function placement optimization, and computational agriculture.

I completed my doctorate work in the Electrical Engineering Department at USC in 2017, my M.Eng. in Telecommunications at Asian Institute of Technology in 2008, and my B.Eng. in Computer Engineering at Kasetsart University in 2006.
